Oleksandr Bondarev, supported by title partner Kiss My Apps, has won the 2026 Formula 4 UAE Series championship — becoming the first Ukrainian to claim a title in professional formula racing, at 16 years old.
A Williams Racing Driver Academy driver, Bondarev concluded the 2026 UAE Series season with a historic result for Ukrainian motorsport: he became Formula 4 champion, securing Ukraine’s first-ever title in formula racing.
The UAE Series championship consisted of four race weekends at world-class circuits in the UAE and Qatar. Over the season, Bondarev:
- Secured 4 victories
- Stood on the podium 7 times
- Finished 1st among 38 drivers, accumulating 193 points
For Bondarev, this is his second season in Formula 4. The UAE Series title marks his first championship in formula racing, following his 2025 debut when he achieved a historic victory at the Imola circuit.
This UAE Series victory paves the way for the main European Formula 4 season: in 2026, Oleksandr will continue his career as the reigning champion with PREMA Racing.
The UAE Series is a prestigious winter championship held at the Yas Marina and Lusail circuits. It is regarded as one of the key stages in the development of young drivers preparing for European championships and as part of the pathway to Formula 1.
